VanMoof Salaries & Compensation

VanMoof was an Amsterdam-based e-bike company founded in 2009 by brothers Taco and Ties Carlier that built some of the world's most iconic and technologically advanced urban electric bicycles. Known for their minimalist design, integrated theft protection, and over-the-air software updates, VanMoof bikes became a cult product among urban cyclists worldwide. Having raised $182 million in total funding, VanMoof filed for bankruptcy in July 2023 after struggling with operational and financial challenges at scale. Its assets were subsequently acquired, with McLaren Applied taking over the brand and technology to continue the VanMoof legacy under new ownership.
